Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients.

Description of Work:

  • Organize, plan, facilitate and document meetings with project stakeholders to elicit requirements.

  • Analyze, develop, and manage detailed requirements documentation.

  • Perform business process analysis and develop technical business process models (As Is / To Be).

  • Develop and maintain lifecycle documents including: use cases, detailed functional requirements, software requirement specifications, detailed design specifications, validation plans, test scenarios, user manuals.

  • Interface with management and provide various reports on a regular basis.

  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis.

  • Become knowledgeable on the HIPAA policies and procedures for the program and ensure awareness of HIPAA breach process.

  • Understand your role in HIPAA compliance and be able to execute that role in an effective manner.

Basic Qualifications for a Business Process Analyst 2:

Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, Master's degree and 1 year of related experience.An additional4 years of appliedexperience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing business analysis and requirements engineering

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing lifecycle documents, including Use Cases, Detailed Functional Requirements, Detailed Design Specifications and Software Requirement Specifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using Visio

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with requirements tools

  • Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Basic Qualifications for a Business Process Analyst 3:

Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed .

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience, Master's degree and 4 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of applied experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing lifecycle documents, including Use Cases, Detailed Functional Requirements, Detailed Design Specifications, Business Process Models and Test Cases

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading requirements discovery working sessions with an audience of customer and systems Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and translating the results of requirements discovery sessions into Requirements / Design documents and Use Cases

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with requirements management tools

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using SQL

  • Must be US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

  • Prior Federal Government/Government/ large scale corporate working experience

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Possess technical writing skills and able to review others work products

  • Experience using HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
