Monday Thru Friday, No Weekend Requirement Over 20 years ago, Intergrace's Copper Ridge became a model residential community dedicated to the treatment and support of those with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Through partnerships with some of the best experts in the country, along with cutting edge research, we have developed practices that are person-centered and have expanded to now support those living with a wide variety of neurocognitive disorders. Through the work of the on-site Neurocognitive Clinic, we are able to support the greater community in providing assessments, diagnosis and supporting treatment plans for those experiencing cognitive change associated with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke and many different forms of dementia. As a nationally recognized leader in the industry, our continued work with research and education through the Integrace Institute supports our goal to improve the quality of life for those with neurocognitive disorders, their loved ones and the dedicated professionals who continue to devote their lives to this important work. Professional nursing responsibilities have changed considerably over time. Registered Nurses (RN) today are highly respected and valued members of the health care team who bring their own body of knowledge to the process and delivery of health care. Registered Nurses work in collaboration with physicians and members of other healthcare disciplines and are often at the center of this collaboration. They require a large base and ever expanding base of knowledge used to assess, plan and intervene to promote health, prevent disease and help residents and their families cope with illness, injury and disability. They observe, assess and document symptoms, reactions and progress, which provides the basis for interdisciplinary care planning and intervention. They are health educators and advocates for residents, families and communities. RN's have a unique scope of practice and can practice independently, although they also must effectively collaborate with all members of the health care team to provide the care needed by each Resident. Education: Graduation from an approved program as a Registered Nurse. Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: Holds current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing in the State of Maryland. Holds current certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
