Global Science and Technology Inc. Development and Test Engineer in Suitland, Maryland
Global Science and Technology, a growing scientific and high technology firm, is seeking aDevelopment and Test Engineerto support a technical and operational support services contract. The position is located in Suitland, MD. This candidate will conduct development and test activities in support of an effort to provide system technical and operational support services.
This position is contingent upon contract award
Position Summary:
Perform development and test activities working with the system integrator contractor to maintain a DevTest pipeline that addresses operational needs as well as the integration of third-party SSA vendors Work with the Presentation Layer vendor to ensure that operational needs and appropriate user feedback is incorporated into updates Oversee integrated workflows across all vendors, and work with the IT/Infrastructure staff to ensure that the DevTest pipeline maintains appropriate security measures.
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and testing
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field (experience can be substituted for degree) or Systems Administrator (Sys Ad) with Systems Design or Systems Architecture certifications.
- U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance is required.
- Experience with Agile methods and practices.
- Cyber Security Certification
- Experience with NDPP, or very large networks and millions of data transactions (there may be smaller data flow being used due to reduced file sizes
- Experience with Dev Test activities
