Knowesis Inc. Facilities Project Lead in Silver Spring, Maryland

Knowesis is looking for subject matter experts to perform correspondence management, operations, human resources, logistics, program management, training, administrative support, business management and scientific expertise to the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Research and Development Directorate.
We are looking for a Facilities Project lead who will coordinate and maintain a variety of support services.
The qualified candidate will:
Facilitate outside maintenance and operation of the building utility distribution system
Conduct surveys of physical spaces
Assist the Directorate with maintaining and updating the emergency preparedness plan
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to track the accountable property from point of acquisition through disposal
Receive, inspect, store, prepare, ship and dispose of supplies related to ground supply operations
Order, monitor, stock and dispose of SSMC1 DHA consumable supplies as needed
Coordinate move management support utilizing SOPs
Report, document, route, and archive any staff injury incidents
Education and Experience Requirements
Current and active security clearance required
Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of directly related experience OR Master’s Degree plus 1 year of directly related experience required
Strong technical writing skills to clearly, logically, and succinctly communicate project-related information within the Directorate, DoD, and other federal agencies
Prior experience in an Military Health System (MHS) environment preferred
Knowledge of military culture and structure to best support MHS initiatives and collaborate within the DoD and with other academic institutions
Possess strong oral and written communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD and Access Databases
