We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant (AA), Junior to support our Patuxent River, MD customer in PMA-261. The AA will be a member of the PEO(A) Management Systems Team and will support the daily activities of the Program Executive Office.

Functional Description:

The AA will primarily provide administrative support of manpower resource analysis.

Additionally, the AA will provide support by communicating with Principal Deputy Program Managers, HR and staff personnel concerning policies and process related to personnel management and recruitment initiatives.

The AA will support the PEO(A) Management System with setting up meetings, administrative duties, briefings, and open projects as required.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafts personnel actions

  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications

  • Scheduling interviews and performance review in support of Management Systems

  • Coordinate/schedule/facilitate meetings

  • Meeting Minutes/Action Items

  • Distribute briefs and files for meetings, as requested

  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs to include Outlook and Word, and familiarity with PowerPoint and Teams.

  • Good written and verbal communications skills.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.

  • Good interpersonal skill

    REQUIRED EDUCATION :

  • High School diploma / GED.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :

  • At least 1 year of experience in an administration discipline.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE :

  • NAVAIR experience and a current Common Access Card a plus.

Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
