Northrop Grumman Systems Administrator 2 or 3 / Secret in Linthicum, Maryland
Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Systems Administrator 2 or 3to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD with travel required up to 25% of the time. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's new classified program providing a Network Operations Center (NOC), a Security Operations Center (SOC), and encrypted network services to multiple customer sites. This is a great opportunity for a senior desktop technician to transition into system administration. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform user account and user group management in Active Directory.
Review, test, and implement 1st and 3rd party patching and anti-virus updates.
Review, test and implement STIGs under the direction of a senior systems administrator.
Manage file shares and permissions.
Provide workstation hardware and software support.
Use tools to monitor performance and provide status and solutions to growing needs.
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3. BQs for a Systems Administrator 2 is a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3 years' experience.
BQs for a Systems Administrator3 is a Bachelor's degree in a related field with6 years' experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Experience working with customers in a classified space
Experience with Active Directory
Experience with Windows Server and Windows 10 client administration
Experience with anti-virus products
Active Secret clearance
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
- Experience working with RMF/JSIG from an IT perspective
