Actalent Engineer Systems Test 3 in Linthicum Heights, Maryland
Description:
Actalent is seeking a Test Engineer to support on-site dedicated 2nd and 3rd shift and weekend test bench operations for the Assembly Integration and Test AIT of a production Space Payload program.
Responsibilities include executing test scripts for the verification of Software Hardware and System requirements for applications in Space. Understanding of RF Radio Frequency systems especially RADAR SIGINT or COMMS programming and scripting skills and working knowledge of RF test equipment Signal Generators Spectrum Analyzers Oscilloscopes Power Meters etc. is desired.
Basic Qualifications:
BS in STEM Science Technology Engineering or Math or HS diploma with at least 4 years of relevant military experience with sensor system ideally RADAR integration and test or operation and maintenance or military control room console operator or defense industry work experience with sensor system ideally RADAR integration and test or operation and maintenance
Willingness to work dedicated 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends for several months continuously 2nd shift is typically 1 PM - 10 PM 3rd shift is typically 9 PM - 6 AM
No clearance needed to start for escorted work
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with RADAR and/or ESA Electronically Scanned Array integration and test
Experience with Space Payload or Space Vehicle Satellite integration and test in a clean room environment
Programming in C or MATLAB for understanding and editing/improving existing code
Scripting in Python or Tcl for understanding and editing/improving existing scripts
Experience with Confluence Jira and Bitbucket
TS/SCI clearance for unescorted work
