VectorCSP Logistics Analyst, Journeyman in Lexington Park, Maryland

Job Summary:

Provide support to Senior Logistics Manager and correspondingly to the Program Office APML/Deputies and Logistics Element Managers (LEM) across the full spectrum of ILS elements.

Education and Experience:

  • BS or BA degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Management, or Engineering
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years' experience in acquisition, LORA, maintenance planning, logistics support/ supportability analysis, operational availability, DMSMS, and/or resource requirements analysis related to acquisition and in-service support of DoD weapons systems. Life cycle costing experiencing desired.
  • Direct experience supporting NAVAIR PMAs preferred
  • Experience with standard NAVAIR product support and logistics IT tools (COMPASS, OOMA, ILSMS, DECKPLATE, etc.) preferred
  • Active Secret clearance?
  • Experience supporting C-130s?
  • Experience supporting E-2 (Hawkeye) or C-2 (Greyhound)?

Essential Duties:

  • Performs various tasks related to developing, operating, evaluating, and improving weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.

  • Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapon systems' logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability and Maintainability (RandM) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and ILS/RandM program management analysis.

  • Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, and/or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.

  • Develops, modifies, prepares, and/or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Understanding of DoD aircraft and/or weapon system life cycle sustainment principles
  • Understanding of USN and NAVAIR acquisition and life cycle support policies and standards preferred
  • Understanding of the logistics, maintenance, or program experience supporting PMA-231
  • Understanding of the logistics, maintenance, or program experience supporting PMA-271
