Retail Clerk
Salary: $15.00 / hourly
Job Type: Part Time
Location: Hooks and Hangers Store - La Plata
Responsibilities and Duties
We have part time retail processor clerk positions available for dependable, punctual, and resourceful people to work in our resale, retail stores.
Maintain customer relations and report complaints to the Retail Manager immediately.
Maintain communication with the Retail Manager on any/all issues concerning store.
Communicate ideas for sales or improvements in the store or operations of the store to the Retail Manager.
Keep stock room appearance neat and orderly.
Report maintenance problems to the Retail Manager.
Perform duties as assigned such as: sorting, hanging, pricing of donations, removing trash, sweeping and general cleaning.
Ensure the stock room is cleaned and organized at the end of every shift to include sweeping, trash removal and etc.
Ensure all donations are immediately removed from the front of the store, to include the sidewalk, and moved to the rear of the store for processing.
Ensure donation bins in the rear of store are emptied in a timely manner.
Ensure the rear of the building is free of debris and trash at all times.
Able to perform assigned custodial tasks on a daily basis.
Recycle clothing and other assorted items as needed.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to sort 20 bags of clothing per hour or
Ability to sort 20 boxes/bags of hard items per hour.

Strong retail experience.
