Kaizen Approach, Inc Senior Software Engineer III in Hanover, Maryland

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a development team utilizing software frameworks to build cutting-edge applications. You will support all phases of the software process; from configuring and managing the production environment to writing, testing, and deploying the code. This role includes capturing user requirements and designing user interfaces that are best fit for the applications, selecting and implementing cutting edge technologies, managing, and configuring code, and testing applications throughout their lifespan. If you are looking to expand your knowledge in all parts of application development, then this is the position for you.
Requirements:
Ten (10) years of experience as a software engineer using enterprise development languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python)
Experience working with source code management systems such as Git
Ability to create cutting edge applications from well-established APIs
Knowledge of different data backends such as MySQL and MongoDB
Ability to configure and manipulate the data in backend software systems
Up to date on current web technologies and ability to suggest areas in which those technologies can be used to improve or enhance new and existing applications
Ability to review technical proposals, requirements, designs, and other engineering documents with a panel of engineers and content managers
Ability to develop modular code components
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other IT related fields
Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Highly Preferred:
Experience developing applications for Computer Network Operations
Experience with Java Enterprise Development, ActiveMQ
Ability to create and manage applications using Red Hat Package Manager (RPM)
MERN stack development
API Design Development
