Description:
Systems Engineer/Systems Administrator to implement, troubleshoot and maintain Information Technology (IT) systems. The System Administrator will:
Configure, install, manages and troubleshoot UNIX and Windows operating systems and GOTS/COTS software
Support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices
Optimizes system operations and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis
At least 14 years troubleshooting software installations and operations.
Understanding of computer networks with ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.
Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
At least 5 years analyzing and correcting data flow issues within systems.
Experience in understanding network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system related issues.
Working knowledge of enterprise dataflow and Nifi.
Willing to perform Panama shift work.
This team works 12hr shifts, they rotate every 8 weeks, and have every other weekend off.
Requirements:
Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, is required. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
