Description:
This position is part of the Mission Support Team that supports partner dataflows
They will derive from the system requirements an understanding of stakeholder needs, functions that may be logically inferred and implied as essential to system effectiveness
Troubleshoot dataflows, as well as map out new dataflow requirements.
Requirements:
Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Candidate is required to have a basic understanding of corporate dataflow and the organizations involved, basic working knowledge of corporate dataflow tools: PICTUREPOSTCARD, DX, DARKGATEWAY, SPLINTER, Kibana, DATARUNNER to name a few.
Desired Skills:
- It is desired for the candidate to have a diversified background across many disciplines, e.g. collection, analysis, basic database experience, comfortable interpreting existing queries and developing new ones. Scripting experience with perl and bash.
