*Job description 1Axium is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As a DSP, you will provide essential care and support to a person with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the person's life. *Responsibilities: - Provide direct support and assistance to person with disabilities - Assist with daily living activities, including but not limited to, personal care, meal preparation, etc. - Support person in developing social skills and participating in integrated community activities - Maintain accurate documentation of supports provided and person's progress - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
**Requirements: - Previous experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred - Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals with diverse needs - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to adapt to changing needs and handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
