Latitude, Inc. IT Support Engineer in Baltimore, Maryland
Respond to day-to-day staff IT issues (service desk) and technical inquiries
Support users with Microsoft applications.
Daily maintenance and support of office IT & network infrastructure as directed.
Ensure systems are adequately checked & protected from virus contamination
Troubleshoot malfunctioning desktop hardware and replace parts as directed.
Possible weekend hours for project work or maintenance
Contribute to researching new IT technology for department
Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills;
Strong attention to detail;
Must be self-motivated and disciplined;
Strong focus on customer service
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
Minimum of 1 year IT experience or currently attending a Technical School for IT.
Proficiency working incident and service requests from a ticketing system (RemedyForce, ServiceNow, JIRA, etc?)
Proficient at supporting Microsoft Office 2013/2016 for Windows and Mac's
Experience supporting Windows 7/8/10 operating systems
Administration of Malware and Antivirus systems and agents
Administration of Active Directory accounts and permissions
Experience in Moves/Add/Changes (MAC) for employee accounts
Familiarity with building and deploying standard images to computer systems
Experience tracking and maintaining computer assets
Mobile asset management and support for all types of mobile devices including iOS and Android
Experience repairing and upgrading laptops and desktops from various manufacturers
Windows Server 2008/2012R2 and some Exchange 2003/2007 server environment an advantage
