Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer (SWE) to join our intel team. The SWE will support one of our programs in the intel community. The SWE will support our task order, assisting the development of an enterprise-level application. The SWE develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems. The SWE shall be reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. The SWE shall also be utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
On Call Support: No

Candidates should have the following qualifications:
TS/SCI with full scope polygraph is required.
Years of Experience: 4 years with degree (8 years without) for SWE1. 8 years with a degree (12 years w/o) for SWE2
Required:
JAVA & Linux
Experience with enterprise-grade/server-side JAVA. Knowledge of the Spring Framework and Dependency Injection. AMF application development supports high-performance, multi-threaded, distributed computing environments.
Linux proficiency, all development is done on Linux systems.
Git, Maven, Gradle
Desired:
Analytics & Data Persistence
Experience writing analytics using Apache Hadoop, HDFS, and MapReduce
Experience designing and developing applications using Apache Accumulo or a similar NoSQL database
Experience processing large data sets or high-volume data ingest
Experience monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting Apache Accumulo, Apache Hadoop, and Apache Zookeeper deployments
Candidates are required to have the following skills and experiences:
IAM Level I (Security+, CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC)
Candidates should demonstrate a strong background developing enterprise-grade Java applications with experience matching the listed skills based on software development focus area. There is a need for all skill sets.
CWIP is no required, rather desired for SWE levels 0, 1, and 2
CWIP is required for Senior level SWE
CWIP Requirements: IAM Level I Certificate, IA Baseline Certificate for the Primary Computing environment/Operating System/Security tool: Security+ CE; CAP; CND; Cloud+; GSLC
Core Skills:
Experience developing enterprise-grade Java applications
Ability to debug and resolve applications errors and performance bottlenecks in a timely and effective manner
Ability to clearly communicate ideas and status updates to peers and management
Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining software in an Enterprise Linux environment
Experience developing software with Git, Maven and Gradle
Serverside/Back end position skills:
Experience developing high-performance, multi-threaded Java applications or applications executed in distributed computing environments
Knowledge of the Spring Framework and Dependency Injection
Full-Stack/Front end / Web Application position skills:
Full-stack software development experience
Experience developing web applications using Modern
Accessibility (a11y) and Section 508 compliance
Understanding of Usability Engineering principles and web application which provides monitoring, alerting, and management capabilities critical to the Customer enterprise. JavaScript frameworks (React, Material UI, D3.js)
Knowledge of Spring Boot, the Spring Framework and Dependency Injection
Experience developing RESTful web services
Analytics & Data Persistence

Experience with developing software on Linux
Experience with common dev tooling such as: git, docker, gitlab, ssh, etc
Participates with the rest of the remote team and can provide remote support
