Insight Global Tactical Network Architect in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Tactical Network Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure and resilient network architectures that support the customer's tactical operations. The ideal candidate will work with a team focused on innovative data management and integration of solutions to enhance the customer's tactical network experimentation and operational capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of military operations, network infrastructure, and advanced networking principles

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field

     - Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI

     - 5+ years of experience in network architecture or a related role

     - Experience in military or defense-related network management and architecture

     - Expertise in network design, implementation, and management within tactical environments.

     - In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software.

     - Strong understanding of network architecture principles, including routing, switching, and wireless communications.

Strong background in cybersecurity principles and practices, particularly as they apply to military networks. o Certified Network Design Professional (CNDP) or equivalent.

 o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

TOGAF or other relevant certifications. null
