Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Software Developer in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies.

Positions will be based at global Army training sites around the world. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing technical studies and engineering analysis focused on software cost-efficiency, quality, and algorithm optimization to support life-cycle sustainment for TADSS.

• Expertise required in software development for TADSS maintenance, integrating field tests, and providing technical solutions for the restoration of software functionality.

• Tasked with software modifications, upgrade installations, and functional verification in line with Government directives, ensuring TADSS components are current and operable.

• Developers engage in pre-and-post modification software inspections and validations pertaining to TADSS, ensuring proper configuration for the integration of future modifications/upgrades.

• Role involves reverse engineering software processes to guarantee sustainability and compatibility within the TADSS framework.

• Charged with comprehensive software engineering services inclusive of analysis, design, testing, production, and documentation to uphold software performance standards and consistent support throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring robust, tested, and reliable software outputs. Required to provide expedited engineering support during exercises/tests, including patches and workarounds for TADSS, to minimize operational disruptions.

• Developers contributes to plans for the procurement and replacement of GLDD components within TADSS, verifying the new components meet the form, fit, and function standards for seamless software integration.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

Physical Requirements

Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the generic systems analyst discipline. Office work environment normally encountered.
