We are seeking a talented and experienced leader to head our team of university talent acquisition professionals, with a focus on strengthening Lockheed Martin's relationships with Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). The successful candidate will guide the team in enhancing existing relationships and establishing new ones, with the objective of increasing direct hiring from these colleges and universities. This role is crucial to reinforcing Lockheed Martin's commitment to diversity and inclusion by recruiting the next generation of diverse talent.

To excel in this role, the candidate will need to apply their expertise in MSI university relations and their experience in university talent acquisition. They will be expected to demonstrate servant leadership to foster collaboration within the team and cultivate a growth and innovation mindset. The candidate will have access to the support of dedicated subject matter experts and an engaged network of executives committed to the team's success.

Effective communication and diplomacy skills will be essential for the candidate, as they will be interacting with internal and external executives. Their attention to detail will also be critical, as they will be managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing circumstances affecting each project.

Establishing on-campus relationships is a key component of this role, and the candidate should be prepared to travel for this purpose 30% to 50% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

- 7+ years’ experience working within Diversity & Inclusion or with HBCUs either as a Campus Relations Manager, Key Stakeholder, or an HBCU Staff Member

- 10+ years’ experience in talent pipe-lining working directly with college students seeking educational or career opportunities

- Project Management experience

- Relationship building with all levels of stakeholders

- Demonstrated effective supervisory skills

- Ability to think strategically and to incorporate input from a variety of stakeholders, collaborators, and colleagues

- 30%-50% travel is required for this position

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of an ATS system

- Experience in data analytics to drive strategy

- Experience designing and managing early career initiatives that increase student capabilities

- Demonstrated planning, organization, and time management skills; ability to drive multiple and competing priorities

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $117,300 - $221,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $102,000 - $195,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
